I have thoroughly enjoyed the Daniel Owen Welsh Mysteries series. This is the third book in the series and I would strongly suggest reading the first two before diving into this one.The characters are wonderful and developed very carefully. The mysteries are well thought out with twists and turns everywhere. I am patiently waiting for the next book in the series-not. I can’t wait until the next one comes out!!!❤️❤️❤️ This book, I think, has the strongest writing so far. The plots, for the crimes is one and for the relationship between Daniel and Mal is another, blend well. The sights, sounds, and even smells bring the scenes to life. The pacing is spot on, too. There is less explicit m/m action than in the first two books, but still enough that this is for adults only. I really enjoyed reading this mystery and am looking forward to the sequel!
